Overview:
Don’t want to spend time on the road and don’t mind skipping the chance to see rhinos at Nakuru? Then this is the perfect tour for you. You will explore Masai Mara for all four days in this itinerary. We can modify this safari by visiting some of the private conservancies around Mara, allowing for activities such as hikes and night safaris which are not permitted in the main reserve. Save even more road time by opting for flights from Nairobi.
Brief Itinerary
Day 1 – Nairobi to Masai Mara. Afternoon game drives in Masai Mara
Day 2 – Full-day game drives in Masai Mara
Day 3 – Full-day game drives in Masai Mara
Day 4 – Transfer from Masai Mara (no game drives) to Nairobi
- 7:30am – Pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or airport
- Drive to Masai Mara with a short stopover at the Great Rift Valley
- Arrival at the Masai Mara
- Check in to your lodge/camp in time for lunch
- Afternoon game drive
- Return to lodge/camp by 6:00pm
- Freshen up, dinner, and overnight at your lodge

- 6:00am – Early morning game drive (best time to witness hunts or kills)
- Return for breakfast and a short rest
- Depart for an extended game drive with packed lunch
- Stop at a picnic spot for lunch
- Continue with afternoon game drive until 6:00pm
- Return to lodge for dinner and overnight stay
